Safe Environment

We have made a raft of changes to ensure the safety of our staff, patients and the public.

We have bought the latest HEPA and UVC air purifier for each of our surgeries

Our normal high standard of cross infection control is now even higher to also include non-clinical. Areas with much more frequent disinfecting.

A 30min wait for any virus to settle after all. Aerosol generating procedures before we will Clean and disinfect the surgery.

PPE

Stringent Personal Protection Equipment is a requirement but we plan to go beyond the Recommendations and also extend PPE to our non-clinical team.

We will be upgrading our masks to FFP2/3 for routine dental care and complex procedures.

All clinical teams will wear protective visors over their masks as well as gowns and shoe coverings

Please do not be offended on arrival when we ask  you to wear a mask, take your temperature (if above 37.3°C we will need to reschedule you), ask you to wash and sanitise your hands, ask you to wait in the car or take a walk until we call you
and ask you to keep 2m social distancing.

Social Distancing

We have reconfigured our waiting and reception area with social distancing in mind.

There are now clear protective perspex screens on reception and we have removed a number of chairs and will only a allow a restricted number of patients to wait in the waiting area.

There will be clearly marked social distancing stickers both inside and outside of the practice.

We will only see patients with appointments only. We ask that you only arrive 5 min before your appointment and attend alone where possible.

Payments and booking of further appointments will be done over the phone or online.

Virtual Consultation

We have embraced the new way of working and will now be offering state of the art free virtual consultations in the comfort and safety of your chosen place.

The aim is to reduce one to one contact and to not waste your time and ours by coming into the practice.

Where possible, other treatments such orthodontics, Invisalign, Incognito…will be monitored remotely via our new Dental Monitoring suite of programs.

This will give both our patients and us much more flexibility and availability for consultations.

Dental Monitoring

A revolutionary faster and safer way to a new healthy smile, without the need for unnecessary face to face appointments.

We are one of the first practices in the UK to offer Dental Monitoring to our Invisalign patients.

The Dental Monitoring Suite of Apps allow us to closely and more frequently monitor your treatment progress without you having to take time off work or school to attend review appointments.

Dental Monitoring is quick and simple to use and will help us to remotely identify if the treatment is progressing as planned or whether we need to give you different instructions.

Diary Management

With enhanced PPE and Social Distancing, our appointments and appointment times will change.

Appointments will be extended and arrival times staggered which will mean that for a time, we will have less appointments available. This is to allow us additional time to decontaminate the surgery between patients and to avoid having too many patients waiting in the waiting area and outside.

Additionally, we will be setting aside time for certain procedures and for vulnerable patients help smooth the visit to us and to mitigate any risk factors.
